The Infamous Heuer Putagethah (sound it out)...

: Looks like a 7733 movement. Not sure but I do
: not recall seeing the 17 jewels under the
: heuer logo on face. I could be wrong. Is
: this a well known model ?

The Infamous Heuer Putagethah (sound it out)... This one's a mess... A pre-60's dial, a Gold case that looks like it's not entirely dissimilar from a Carrera case of the 60's, sporting an early 70's economy model movement, with a crown that I don't think it's mother could tell you who the father of it is...

I'm very nearly to the point of saying "Don't trust any Heuer being sold from South America, unless you hold in your hand the exact same model and can verify every component of it.". The outright fakes coming from south of the border are awful to begin with and seem to be competing with one another in one-ups-manship!
