Re: So...who's the pimp now :-))))
In Response To: So...who's the pimp now :-)))) ()

Abel I have private access to Rodenstock company: when I was 22 I had the ide to get some very special glasses for my Ray Ben (Shooting version: nromally yellow glasses). I than sent them a piece of a purple fabric and the tinted a custom made glass for me: this sun glasses were 100% pimp in 1:1 color than purple fabric. and sure after 3 hours wearing them and putting them away I saw everything yellow: complementary color stuff.

So may be if you wear this carrera , you ses yellow too?

let us know !

Alex

I still remember some comments of fellow collectors/friends when I
: posted a picture here on OTD from my goldplated Montreal :-))
: Actually this Montreal is a very nice watch, and as David
: already outlined...the dial is really fascinating. Very special!

: Well, I sold my Montreal some time ago...I had mixed feelings when
: wearing it. As a goldsmith it's very difficult/unnatural to wear
: something that looks like gold but actually isn't...

: Here are some pictures of my Grand Carrera;
