These Sifferts Seem to Have Carrera Hands
In Response To: Re: Meister anker... ()

The Siffert that started this thread, and the Meister Siffert that you show, both seem to have had the hands replaced, with hands from a Carrera. The easiest clue: These hands are too short, and the minute hand does not reach the outer track. Look at the Index page of the automatic Autavias -- in every model and every version, the minute hand reaches the outer track (with the marks for minutes / seconds and 1/5 hash marks). But the replacement Carrera hands are too short and do not reach the hash marks for the minutes / seconds. So, in my opinion, these hands have been replaced and I doubt that this is a rare version . . . only a rare replacement.

Still, a pretty watch, but I believe that it is a "customization".

: yes thats what I thought too. meister anker is too cheap for this.
: so I believe its commercial promo for a company withthe name
: "meister" only

: however the meister siffert is pretty scarce and as you might know
: the meaning of the word meister in German = Master, does mean
: finally Master Autavia: which it is true anyhow :-)
