Jeffs 917s camshaft pic

Wow cool is it under glass with a monaco wrapped around ??
My advise for Tag would be continuous development, lets see what we have:
the start is the beautiful 904 designed by the master himself 'Butzi' Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, ok we forget about the stupid V as we have a boxer 4 to start with, next 906 already B6, then 908 Steve goes to Sebring with Peter Revson and finally the big toy 917 mean gulfs and porsche salzburg cars, Langheck was troublesome, maybe we start with Kurzheck...Guys what do you think ? Attached Jeffs camshaft ;-))Cheers Arno

: I have camshaft from one of the 917s . . . supposedly from the
: 917 that won Daytona 24 hours in 1970 and was crashed during the
: filiming of Le Man. Of course, I am not certain of the
: provenance; I am certain that it is from one of the Porsche 917s
: [as one old Porsche mechanics said to me at a vintage event,
: when I showed him the camshaft, "What else could it be
: from?"]. Maybe I should sent to TAG-Heuer to take the
: measurements for the flat 12 model of the Monaco? Indeed, this
: would be the ultimate development of the Monaco, right?
