PVD recoating for a Heuer Monza

Hi
Has anyone recoated a PVD monza and if so whom would you recommend in North America? What if I stripped the PVD off...does that look very good?
Also how do I change the date on this watch? It is the Cal 15 and I find that when I manually wind it to start it up I have to wind it 24 times to get to the 12th! Is that normal for this watch?
Thanks
Raj
