great post on the gasket issue - thank you very much, i am sure your heart meltet as well when you wrote the mail.
i wonder if there's anyway to avoid the gasket melting?

1. are their different gasket materials out there?
i can imagine that certain materials are more affected than others depending on their quaility - maybe we should invent a new monaco gasket?

2. what's the initial reason for the melting?
is it overexposure to sunlight? or does it just melt with the years? should you wear your monaco only with a special teamperaturized sleeves with special uv-light shield?

3. matter of assembling?
or is it a issue tas a result of wrong assembling - i.e. the gasket gets hurt and starts to bleed?

let's stop the gasket bleed - we don't like that!
