I would think this is one of the worst non-TAG Heuers - the gold touches represent a big step forward to the type of TAG-Heuer monstrosities seen in the late 80s & early 90s.
But for me it has a really good story. When I met my wife, 21 years ago, she was wearing this watch. Hey, OK it's not a 60s Carerra but still thats pretty cool that she had a Heuer. Obviously I had to marry her.
What do you guys think on the background? Do particular records go with particular watches? I was thinking maybe Duran Duran for this watch but there are limits to lack of taste even in my collection (both Heuers and records).
