Re: 24 Hours of Le Mans
In Response To: Re: 24 Hours of Le Mans ()

Agree with Rich on Button, he seems less cloned, funny is that all the champions nowadays have their fathers in the pits, seems family business is a success accelerator...
For Peugeot it was such an important win in le Mans on home turf, which is good for the competition and their budget for next year...

: I have to say i think you're right, just like the EPL needs
: Liverpool to win next year!
: No doubt it will spur Audi on, but to be fair any predictability in
: sport is a turn off for neutrals...
: The Audi domination at LM had made the event go a bit stale as a
: spectacle a while back.

: I wonder what people will be saying at the end of the F1 season? I
: really like Button and think it's great for teams to come out of
: nowhere, for whatever the reasons. Button especially for me has
: the image of someone who could wear a Heuer watch. I'm not sure
: he shoud be tying himself down with an albeit outstanding pretty
: GF (there 10 a penny anyways!) as i'd prefer to imagine him
: beating all comers on the track, necking some fine Tequilla gold
: and then going out a la Eddie Irvine and putting it about a bit,
: he's still young after all ;-)

: However if he wins another 4 or 5 races will people switch off?
