Heuer Game-Master stopwatch Question

Hey all-

I recently came across a Heuer Game-Master in great condition.

One slight (hopefully) problem that maybe someone can help me out with.

The start/stop mechanism seems to have the spring inside that I can push out when inside the watch, but once I push in from outside the watch stops, and the "spring" feeling won't allow it to start. BUT, the watch runs perfectly.

Anyone know if this piece is an easy fix, or where I could get a part?

Regards,

Jen
