this seller seems to be running some sort alternative auction, in which he will continue to lower the price until someone bids. not a reverse auction; not a dutch auction; maybe it's called a "descending price auction" . . . sort of like a filene's basement auction / automatic mark-down system, in which the price comes down until someone buys it.

I would estimate that, at a current price of 1000 euro, he remains 400 to 600 euro away from reality.
