To me the decision to buy a Meridiist (or a Vertu, an older model Nokia dressed up in some OTT bling) is as incomprehensible as us spending so much money on "old watches" must be to others... Although easier to explain if you put it into terms of residuals.

So I'll take the Autavia please, have it gift-wrapped and sent to me :) I like these Autavias, particularly as they look like they could be a decade or two older than they actually are.
