I don't see a problem with auction 4 - as long as the prices are distributed on the bell curve as well. If they are not, then alot of stuff will be unsold (or unfair), unless there is some manipulation behind the scenes.

I can't really complain about auction 4 as that is the model for the auction house that I used to build a big part of my collection. I think the auction house was call something with an e, but I can't remember the name now.
