I am Guessing that the Patina is Painted On


To me, this "patina" looks too fresh. Also, with the patina, we usually see some spots or other marks. This one is almost too clean.

Also, the case is too "late" for the watch. I don't recall Heuer using these angular lugs until the 1960's, and this triple calendar chrono should be from the 1940's or 50's.

Last, but not certainly not least, the "Switzerland" at the bottom looks a bit funky.
