Yesterday's New York Times has this interesting article, "A Symbiotic Friendship of Mechanical Precision" . . . discussion of TAG-Heuer and its Meridiist, and examples of the major watch brands (Breitling, Omega, etc.) developing and incorporating innovative technologies.

I have been testing a Meridiist for a week now; it's a beautiful, unique machine; I'm still assessing its performance as a cellphone.
