Re: Excellent Review, Alex / Two Questions

Jeff,

the Vic for 2500 USd I have not seen in 2009...it must be a good luckof yours: you see a lot of on ebay 2000+ usd but they turing cycles. I have seen 700-1000 euro max.....May be supermint 1200 euro...incl. bracelet....a lot of heuer straters go still for this watch...not nowing the nice range of the scqrce models...sure you see many Vics if you google...so you automatically are fixed to it.

The diver 11630 P of yours was a real bargain. I have sold a 11630 mint cons for 2500 euro recently... guess the one of yours is 2800-3000 euro...seems you have been some hours early awake than others :-)...if you lke to sell once, just ping me.

for the price guide I dont think we should go for NOS examples....

So pricees mentioned are for VG-mint watches as usual: if you need further info just mention it to me..

: Thank you for this excellent review. This will be very helpful,
: when I start on the task of updating our Price Guide.

: A question, please: What is your assumption about condition? Are
: you generally describing prices for mint / near mint / very good
: / average / etc.? As an example, let's look at the most common
: of these Autavias, the Viceroy. You say 1,000 Euro, but I
: believe that this must be for an average model, showing some
: normal wear. I see the near mint / true mint at the $2,500 level
: (say 1,700 Euro); with the ones at customary "used"
: condition at the 1,000 Euro level. My suggestion of $2,500 for
: near mint / mint Viceroy is based on actually experience of
: selling one; with some patience, offers of $2,250 to $2,500 were
: received with some regularity.

: Second question: how do you value true NOS Autavia 11630 P, in box
: on original bracelet . . . true NOS, from the dealer who had it
: in the case these past 30 years?

: Thanks again for the excellent message.

: Jeff
