Heuer and Lemania

I've always been intrigued by the Heuer and Lemania partnership- in 1983 there was a huge influx of watches with Lemania movements...and then they almost evaporate entirely by 1986. With some help of some familiar names, I'm putting together a two-part post on Lemania and Heuer, the first of which can be found below:

Some pieces of the story I've been able to find some solid sources for- but not all, so any comments/ inputs/ corrections are welcome as always.

Part 2, which focuses on the watches should be ready in a few days.

Cheers
