Preparing A Siffert For Sale

It's time. No one needs to have two Siffert Autavias (I know, some will take umbrage with this statement, but given how many Rally Master sets I have, something has got to give to keep the peace around the house). So I've decided that it's time to find a new home for my later version 1163T.

Here's the question. The face is great, and it runs like a dream, but it has a replacement bezel and cystal, neither of which are right. Is it worth replacing them with original parts for sale, or should I leave it be and let the buyer change whatever he pleases. Any idea who would be best to restore it and what it would cost? Would the cost of restoration be greater than the increase in value?

I assume that any proper 1163 tachy bezel and crystal would work on the Siffert. Is there anything special I need to know about to restore it properly? Thanks.

Scott
