Its not usually recommended to open and tinker with these watches unless you are yourself a watch maker. I know i NEVER open or look into my watches, my maximum level of work on my Heuer's is to swap out straps and bracelets.
However the case opening issue was thouroughly examined by Stewart some time ago and will have some readers looking through the kids lego bricks for this quick fix remedy. Here's the link
