Carrera 12 2447D with the 50-marker cut *PIC*

I've now seen a second Carrera 12 2447-D for sale with (what looks like) the 50-marker cut in half by the 6 o'clock sub-dial.

I didn't keep a picture of the first one, so can't recall - but this one looks like first execution dial & hands (ie MOAT row A-14).

I've taken a snippet of the sellers photo & attached here for posterity.

Is this likely to be either:
(a) A trick of the light & bad photo.
(b) An original dial variation.
(c) A re-dial or something worse.

The Decimal track printing (numeral size) does seem bigger than I'd expect, which makes me think it's (c)...
