Great work, Jeff! And what a fantastic example. Congratulations Paolo!!! I am not exactly a Carrera guy and certainly am not a gold watch guy. But for this Carrera I would gladly break both rules, if one comes around...which I understand it is a very slim possibility. Keep up the good work.

: Memorial Day holiday here in the U.S. of A., so I finally found
: the opportunity to add a magnificent 18 karat gold Carrera
: (Reference 1158S) to OnTheDash.

: This is the first sample that we have seen of a second execution
: 1158 S, which has the earlier style hour recorder (3-6-9-12)
: with the later style hands and markers. As you might expect, it
: is powered by the Caliber 11 movement. Perhaps we could call it
: "transitional", as it bridges the early and later
: executions. Whatever we choose to call it, we know that it's a
: beautiful chronograph!!
