Some Good News: This Fake Did Not Sell

I sent a message to the auction house, asking about the result of this auction (held on June 29, 2010), and am told that the watch did not sell . . . so there's a bit of good news.

Good job, Rich, in bringing this to our attention. As you said, it can be dangerous out there, and it's best to do the research before buying.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It can be a minefield out there as we have seen recently, not just on Heuer Monacos but also with carreras, Autavias. Some of the differences can be subtle but in unison they stand out like a sore thumb. One thing is for certain the m ore research you can do the better. Lets hope nobody thinks of bidding 6-7000Euro for this one!

Cheers

Rich
