Re: Rare Version, in the Box . . . $5,500 is About Right

Jeff,

Hi. Terry here, it was me that bought this set and it is all original and in very nice condition. All in all I think I got a good deal especially as I have had a couple of offers on them since. Not for sale though.. As you said about your very fine triple set; it's a 'keeper'.

Just bought these Autavias as well - granted they need a bit of work but I think they will be an excellent addition to my ever growing collection. Just for info, the collection now stands at:

Auto-Rallye
3 button Monte Carlo
Navia
Revue 8 Day Clock
Early Master-Time
Maseratti Sebring/Master -Time set
3 button early Monte Carlo 'Auto-Rallye' (same as in this set)
This Rally-Master set
Twin early Autavia set (photo)
Auto-Rallye 'Abercrombie & Fitch'
Super-Autavia 'Abercrombie & Fitch' - in fact, this very one http://classicheuers.blogspot.com/

I have amassed numerous spare parts, single, double, triple and quadruple plates and I have no idea what else.. I think there's another Rally-Master set somewhere..

As you can see I got a little obsessed with these beautiful timepieces and I think my collection will continue to grow. As and when I get back from Iraq, I'll try and get a photo of the entire set if anyone's interested.

Still on the lookout for a Hervue and a later 'early' Autavia and a Monaco... see what I mean about obsessed?
