Heuer built Rolex?

I just received an e-mail by a knowledgeable gentleman in Budapest, in reaction to posts about my Carrera 12 Dato. In that e-mail he informed me that the Rolex 6036 was assembled by Heuer, using a slightly improved (optically) Valjoux 72C movement. Apparently this was confirmed by Rolex to him in a letter.
Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I didn't know and thought you might find this interesting.
