Many of our logo dial watches came from the same original source....Jeff Meyer

This includes my Shelby, Nic's Autoweek, Arno's Indy (NOS) as they can all be seen on the "special logo section" of OTD in photos together. Perhaps Nic's Autoweek Carrera isnt such a longshot for being a sponsor for such an event either (SCCA sponsored banquet)...considering another publication (Motor Age) sponsored in 1968 detailed in my previous post.

Some of the logo Heuers came from the same source for a reason perhaps...as some could have belonged to the same event over a period of time....

food for thought? Now to find out details of these banquets from '65 onwards, lets hope that it became tradition.
