I had three watches 'lost' many years ago, all happened w/in the course of one year, all with FedEx ! All three sellers who were dealers were kind enough, and rightfully so, to refund my money...watches never turned up that I know of unfortunately.
As to what you can do..tracing the package would be a good start, see where it may have sat, as well as the weight factor..my dime is on where the watch was initially dropped off for shipping..before the tracking took effect..
I wish you luck, and will keep eyes peeled for that beauty.
