Maybe We Just Don't Understand "Luxury Goods" . . .

I can just hear my good friends at TAG-Heuer reminding me that us vintage watch collectors just don't understand "luxury goods" . . . like the $4,000 Meridiist that I tried for a couple of weeks.

A friend who works at Tourneau told me of a customer who had purchased 10 or 12 of the Vertu phones, all of them priced above the $5,000 mark, some above $10,000. Yep, people who buy the "luzury goods" are just different.
