Wow Peter, that is such an inspiration, even as an "old" photo" I am in awe of your Heuer collection.
This is my humble beginning, with notably one Heuer. We all need to start somewhere.
Yes Russkirichard, I empathise with you about outgrowing.

I was fortunate enough to not only meet a collector in my very small town, but to be invited around to see his collection. He had 3 "coffee" tables, with glass tops and a sliding locking draw underneath each in his main living area, and each had approx. 60 plus vintage watches. He then took me downstairs to the more secured area of the house, with its numerous safes where he kept his more desireable timepieces. I was speechless. Regrettaby, not a Heuer in sight, but having said that, there was only one quartz in his entire collection. Saw my first tourbillion in the metal and some incredible pocket watches, plus other notables. I had never experienced such fine workmanship and beauty, ever.
As far as the topic is concerned, I was very impressed with his coffee tables, come display cases. But first, I need a collection that is worthy of display. At the moment I use a chocolate box, that fits into my secure area and a virgin chamois, amazingly I can keep them all separated from each other. As per my intial advice received here, I only leave two out at a time.
