Having this Carrera on the screen for a couple of hours, and glancing at it occasionally, leaves me with the following impressions:

• contrasting registers / dial look great.

• it's good to see colors other than the usual black / white; this one will look nice with a khaki suit and red tie.

• tachy scale is well done [if we must have a tachy scale] and doesn't clutter the dial [too much].

• I'll confess -- I am less concerned about the movement than some of our readers seem to be; if it'll run for a couple of days and keep me more or less on time, that's all I ask of it . . . of course, a premium movement would be nice if it will carry a premium price.
