Re: Can we date this Blue Heuer box?

In my opinion Thomas’s box is from the seventies and earlier than Amer’s. It has the same construction as the red racing box which, I’m sure we all agree, came out of the late sixties. It has the same folded inner, watch holder and loose satin inner lining and I would guess it is the same size as the red racing box. It may well be the type of box for the Camaro which was sold in the early seventies. Amer’s box has the solid inner with an aperture for the watch holder and is similar to those sold in the eighties and featured in the 1983 catalogue (last 2 pages). Just my two cents worth on a cold and rainy Saturday.
