Just a guess ...
Possibly an original dial (hour markers look right) that has been repainted some time ago - hence you see the patina.
Clearly the Carrera script is quite different but what looks really odd in detail is the bold numbers in the registers.
On a good note the 18kt case looks genuine as does the numbered movement, but i will happily step aside to hear opinions from some of the early Carrera experts ... paging Dr.Moss ;-)
