Here is an interesting paragraph mentioning what may have been the bargain of the entire auction, the Chronomatic Carrera:
The sale of the collection was timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of TAG Heuer, that now belongs to the luxury conglomerate LVMH. Several of the pieces were bought by the brand for the TAG Heuer museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds, including a rare ‘Chronomatic’ Carrera.
I believe that it is great news that this super rare Carrera has gone home to TAG-Heuer; do doubt, the collectors' community will be able to see more of this one!!
