First generation Carreras certainly, but my feel is that the third generation (aka barrel) Carreras also had more interest during 2010 than previously. I doubt many will make the money of your fumé on the strap Arno, but then that watch was exceptional (one of my 3 favourites of the sale).
I wore two gold Carreras to the auction, an 1158 and a 110.515:
and surprisingly (to me anyway), it was the barrel that got the more views. The CdG dials are a big selling point, unusually flamboyant for a Heuer dial.
I reckon that interest will carry on increasing through 2011 - barrels will never become as desirable as the first gen, but I think the market for them will broaden.
