It is supposed to be less expensive to service, more rubust, and more reliable. Mine has recently let me down, often (see post below) The good news is that the 7750 is still in watches today. Do an ebay search for Valjoux and you will be amazed. Panerai, Omega, Invicta, Wenger, etc.
