The Navia 8-day clock was designed to be mounted on the dashboard of a boat, and features a waterproof case. It uses the same movement and hands as the Master Time, and the dial is almost identical (except that it says "Navia" instead of "Master Time").

In terms of their vintage, you might want to check through some of the catalogs OnTheDash. I am guessing that the Navia was produced from the late 1960's through the late 1970's. These catalogs will also describe the construction and purposes of the Navia.
