Re: 1133G Soon to be on my wrist.

thanks for the welcome and comments: but please don't spare me just because I'm a newbie.

I haven't even eyeballed it. The seller shipped it straight to Jasper, who found no issues other than a "bit" of older "seal bleeding" on the dial. The seal it had was ok. It will be cleaned and fully serviced. It won't be polished, have you seen the case back? Sharpish :-) Jasper recommended a new glass. Fine with me. To my newbie eyes the dial has very nice lume dots.. whereas the hands look like they were relumed (and not by Michelangelo). Remove and redo the lume or leave it?

When/if I pick it up from Jasper in a few weeks we'll sort out straps. I will have several anyway. It came with an ugly (but seventies) aftermarket metal and a dark brown rallye strap. I've picked up a (generic) NSA tapered 22 mm for which I still need endlinks but I prefer to wear leather or nato on my wrist. I recently bought an SS strap for my IWC Pilot Chrono and I haven't worn it since.

I'd like to see it on a BLUE corfam.. I think.
