I've never heard of 'KP', all the Early quartz divers were ESA (later became ETA) followed by the numerals.

They weren't Heuer movements as such, but ETA/ESA movements supplied to Heuer & had the Heuer name printed on them.
It is odd that the two 963.114's don't match up. Why not just install the new working 963.114 into the watch?
