Jan's Monaco was spectacularly paintless, I really liked it.

As to the subject in hand, Dean's Autavia, I would take it as it is too. Many aspects of a watch age and fade with time and it can definitely be part of the attraction. I think it looks fine in this faded orange and would echo Ron's cautionary note about redials.
