Thanks for the compliment Mark. I showed this one to another collector recently and I think it turned his stomach. I guess you either love these or dislike them. I love this piece and on close inspection of the dial I believe it to be a genuine Heuer. The reference number on the case is 741.603 indicating a Valjoux 7741 movement. My feelings on the other Autavia in question is that it too is correct and genuine Heuer. Maybe these were made to test the market and like the PVD Monaco, never made it into full scale production or any of the known catalogues. For me this is part of the appeal.
