Where do these redials come from ?

: Just a quick post, we see many of these re-dial Monacos and here is
: a reasonable comparison to show the details that are not quite
: right.

: This dial has been refinished very well, most are not as good,
: however still...

: 1. Perpetual 2nd hand target "cross hairs". The redial is
: the same size in reach but starts too close to the hole for the
: hand.
: 2. The Monaco script does not have the seriph flourishes of the
: original and is off centre high, the original is off centre low,
: so the "cross hairs" are too close to the Monaco
: script.
: 3. The paint finish whilst very close in colour does not have the
: grain of the original dial.
: 4. The Heuer badge and script are both slightly too heavily printed
: and without the script, albeit you need the loupe to tell.
: 5. The Automatic Chronograph script is wityhout seriph flourishes
: and too close to the date window
: 6. The Swiss badge is too far away from the date window, has no
: seriph flourishes and no dashes on either side as per original
: cal15 dials ( - Swiss - )
: 7. The markers on the sub register are too long and again without
: flourishes (are we beginning to get the theme here?!)
: 8. Lume too thick.

: Of course much of this you don't spot until you get the loupe out -
: the most obvious easy tell being the lack of dashes either side
: of the Swiss script and the incorrect spacing in general of the
: writing "Automatic Chronograph"
