Re: I've only gone and done it...a non Heuer arrival!

I had a non Heuer itch to scratch and found this lovely bullhead via this very site - might save a few knocks on my Heuers!

Great watch.

Steve

: Having toyed with other brands and watches over the past few years
: i have finally taken the plunge for what i think may be a keeper
: to join my Heuer collection.

: I owned a Rolex Red Sub (too small), a 1655 orange hand mk1 (again
: too small, although this lasted the longest due to the cool
: hands & dial) and a week with a new ceramic sub, good size,
: but weird lugs and somehow also a bit dull for me after our
: groovy Heuers!

: So my requirements was for a true holiday watch, one for the
: shower, the pool and sea (i'd never take my vintage pieces into
: this territory) and this Tudor Heritage is great. The dial pops
: out at you, the matt grey paint with black subs is a real looker
: and the dauphin hands and hand applied hour markers look great.
: Size wise... well it wears slightly larger (maybe 5%) than an
: Autavia and sits very well on the wrist. The bracelet is also
: very nice, with a very impressive feel and great clasp,
: certainly better than the Rolex's imo. The detailing on the case
: and pushers is also impressive and i prefer the bevelled edges
: to the new ceramic sub wide flat versions.

: I think it’s a cracking watch, ok so the movement is nothing
: special, but it will i'm sure be perfectly reliable workhorse
: and COSC precision is not my thing (i expect it will keep better
: time than my Monacos, perhaps i will compare soon!) for me the
: look and feel of the watch is more important and at a smidgen
: over £2k i think this is so much better value or money.

: One satisfied customer!

: Cheers
