This is a very low serial number, based on what we see here -- http://www.onthedash.com/docs/AutaviaRegistry.html.

I'm not sure that we can be certain exactly when the Autavias were introduced . . . probably 1962. There may be some back and forth, and ups and downs, between the bands of serial numbers, and earlier and later watches (for example, some earlier 2446's that have lower serials than some later 2446s). But no doubt, yours is an early one.
