Re: Help....unidentified bracelet PVD & GOLD

Paul,
I thought the 980.029 (pictured left on the catalogue scan) was the 38mm case. In the MOAT it is listed as 38mm. Which had 18mm lugs.
I wasn't aware that any of the 'Black Coral' series were ever made in the over sized large 42mm size??

Russkirichard - double check the end pieces, I'd be surprised if they aren't 18mm, if they are 20mm, I think we have a mystery????
I presume you could always get the bracelet bead blasted & sell on? The only concern is whether you could blast away all the PVD in the tight gaps, worth asking a specialist I'd have thought.

: Hi - what you have there is a 1000 series diver bracelet to fit the
: large 42mm case i.e. 20mm lugs. These were the "Black
: Coral" dive watch (1982 catalogue) - part PVD part gold.
: The clasp and end pieces are certainly worth keeping. In my
: experience, correct end pieces are harder to find that the whole
: bracelet and are never available when you need them.
: regards
: Paul
