Volume May Be Down; Prices Seem Solid

The market seems to have been thin over the first quarter of 2011, with relatively light volume, but I have not seen any real softness in the prices. The weakness in the US Dollar makes it difficult to compare "apples to apples", but even adjsuting for currency, prices seem to be stable.

I think everyone knew that we would not see Bonhams (Haslinger) prices in the eBay / private market, but I haven't seen any real softness. Do others see it differently?

: Yep, I've noticed a few lulls. I guess it's just the wax n wane of
: the markets. Maybe it's down to the world economy? Who knows!
