Richard,
I've tried several straps on my silver dial Carrera Re-Edition, and I just couldn't find one that looked and felt better than the one the watch came with... worth every penny, if you ask me.
I have had a couple of the GT Rally straps and I find that they feel and look cheap... but then again, you get what you pay for.
I do love the Hirsch Rally straps...
