I Am Uncertain About This One

I'll admit it -- I'm confused about this one. Now that I look more closely, the one on ebay (shown in the top photo) matches the ones shown OnTheDash in some respects and it differs in some respects. And we show two of these OnTheDash, and they have certain differences (most obvious being bezel inserts and crystal).

so I don't know what to make of it . . . I have never actually seen one of these in the metal, or studied the details or history . . . seller is a regular participant here, so perhaps he can tell us more . . . maybe some other readers can clarify or explain.
