Cal. 12 date change issue

Wonder if anyone can shed any light on this issue...
When the time gets to midnight at 'date switch over time', and the date wheel is on 7... it almost switches to 8, but then 'flicks' back to 7. Same happens if I am manually trying to change the date.
It only happens from 7 to 8 on the date wheel.
