That's interesting, I had assumed that France would have been quite a big market for Heuer. Not sure their domestic production was sizeable enough to justify protectionism, and Breitling were relatively successful, so I wonder why Heuer didn't resonate as much with them as with some of the other European markets. Maybe the stronger links with motorsport switched more people onto the brand after this period, we certainly have our fair share of French collectors now.
