Re: Caseback Finish Question
In Response To: Re: Caseback Finish Question ()

Hi guys,

The 1163, 11630, 11063 Autavia's all case with brushed casebacks (I can't include the military issued models tough as these were not standard production but customised). Most of them linear, I have seen only very few radial...but no radial seen with NOS caseback sticker.

I think the early Autavia's ref.2446 and some before came with polished casebacks... while the early Carrera's 2447...came again with linear brushed casebacks. However I don't know the hex-caseback from the Carrera (actually the double-hex LoL) was originally finished brushed or polished. A question for you Mr.Carrera Mark ;-)

Have to run now,
A great day to all,
Abel.
