No Heuers Here -- Part Two

Four years ago, I posted a couple of vacation photos, from St. George Island, Florida, an island connected to the mainland by a mile-long causeway. Here is that posting -- http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=17598

Now, if find myself at another vacation destination where I have been unable to find any Heuers -- Monhegan Island is small island 10 miles off the coast of Maine. accessible only by ferry. The year-round population of Monhegan Isalnd is approximately 50 persons; during the vacation season, on a day like today, there might have been 200 to 300 people. No jewelers; no flea markets; no antique dealers; no garage sales . . . but the wireless is excellent!!

I would have done one of Francesco's beautiful "Background" postings, but who could have ever identified this spot?

I hope that everyone is enjoying a nice summer, at some nice destinations . . . with or without the Heuers!!

Jeff
