Hang in there

Hey,

Good to hear...I'll put you on my forward list. If i see nice rare Heuers/chronos obscured on German ebay, etc. I'll forward them to you. I have even found some that WOW good ole Chuck!

ps, we have all had something along these lines happen. My very first watch ebay/purchase was a 1970s $125 yellow dial seiko chrono lost in the mail....and I had to brow beat the seller to fill out the proper forms for 3 months to get the insurance claim. Have had some other nut-jobs sell me rust-buckets too.

However, then again I have had a watch board poster tip me off to a 70s Zenith El Primero Blue Square NOS with box, papers, etc sitting in his local jeweler for $500 (value is $2000) and brokered another watch for a $200 profit, [didn't even own it] just for posting that i knew of one.

Overall, I think you will find you will come out even and enjoy yourself. In retrospect the stress on my heart from that first seiko for $125 was definitely not worth it!

Now I laugh about it; and one day you will too!
